NEW AND EXCITING DEVELOPMENTS FROM VITRA UNVEILED AT EXPO

EXPO 2007 will be the bathroom industry's 'shop window' for the Olympics and the challenge of water conservation and energy efficiency. International bathroom brand, VitrA will be announcing its continued association with leading names from the design world and showcasing its impressive contract partnerships at the show, demonstrating that it has all the 'goods' ready to display.

Be the first to see Ross Lovegrove's second and much-anticipated VitrA range; designed for a mass market audience these products will tackle the environmental issue to save on water. Lovegrove's Istanbul collection received much recognition including the reddot in 2006; a Winner in the 2006 Wallpaper* Design Awards; plus a Home Classic Award from Homes and Gardens, and his latest collection is sure to attract similar acclaim.

Also being unveiled will be concepts from a brand new collaboration with Italian architect Matteo Thun – teaming up for the first time with VitrA to design 'Water Jewels', a range of bowls in alternative materials to highlight the different solutions VitrA can provide. This range also consists of the 'super flat' bath; an innovative bath that creates easier accessibility and addresses water conservation concerns.

VitrA will also be launching two new ranges of products by German designers NOA; High Q and S50. High Q highlights VitrA's commitment to touch-free technology to increase hygiene in public areas, while S50 is a range of products specifically for the hotel and leisure market showing VitrA's commitment to function and design.

Also launching at EXPO will be a bath and shower mixer from Amsterdam-based Pilots Design. This product allows users to store individual settings using the digital display.

The company will also being showcasing some of its high profile contract wins including the supply of sanitaryware to T5 and specification of the Istanbul collection to the UK's first women only powder room – WC1, as well as at the St Alban Restaurant, the latest venture from Chris Corbin and Jeremy King, the team behind The Ivy and The Wolseley.
